Test Engineer - Electronics

£28,000 - £30,000 + Training + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Electronics Test Engineer role on offer for a high technology company where you will undertake ongoing training and develop technically.

Do you have experience of maintaining, calibrating and building industrial electronic test equipment?

Established over 80 years ago this company design develop and supply specialist electronic equipment into a range of industries worldwide. With the business currently expanding and new developments coming to fruition they require an experienced test engineer to join their equipment department.

In this varied role you will be maintaining, calibrating and upgrading bespoke electronic process and test equipment across the site. You will also be involved in the design and manufacture of new equipment including the generation of supporting documentation.

This role would suit a test engineer with a broad range of industrial experience of working on oscilloscopes, amplified circuits, pulse generators etc. You will have well-rounded knowledge of electronics and will be keen to work as part of a small, knowledgeable team.

The Role:

*Maintaining and developing bespoke electronic process and test equipment

*Fault finding and carrying out electronic and mechanical repairs

*Calibrating equipment and documenting results

*Designing and manufacturing new equipment

*Programming in Visual Basic and Labview then storing records

The Person:

*Formal qualifications in electronics engineering

*Experience of fault finding on process and test equipment

*Experience of designing and building equipment

*Soldering, electro-mechanical assembly

*The ability to work as part of a flexible team
