Spring Technology currently have an opportunity to work with a large consultancy based in Manchester, looking for a UI Design Lead to join the business on an initial 5 month contract starting as soon as possible.

The Role

Act as a design SME in support of concept development work in the Digital arena, helping solution teams and others to identify, assess and conclude options through providing design insight and options as part of the creative process.

Create design concepts and prototypes that explore and address user & business needs and incorporate new functionality into the service in terms of UI and the wider contextual experience.

Work closely with developers to ensure user experience intent (UI/UX) is translated into the final UI.

Skills and experience required

* Previous experience of user experience design working on desktop, mobile applications and services.

* Deep understanding and appreciation for Interactions for digital interfaces, in particular mobile & desktop UI.

* Ideally a portfolio of award-winning work.

* Demonstrable experience of delivering projects on time, budget and specification.

Desirable Skills

* Previous experience of designing other digital services and presences highly desirable e.g. websites, responsive design, software.

* Professional, up to date, understanding of design techniques, approaches and methodologies relating to the development of digital services, including agile and lean design processes for digital.

* Fluent in relevant design tools such as, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch.
