My client based in Edinburgh has a requirement for a Project Manager/UAT Test Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an internationally recognised client on an initial 10 month contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* The project manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day planning of the shareholder communication programmes ensuring key activities are carried out, key stakeholders and suppliers are engaged and timescales for production met.

* Ensures realistic project plans are prepared, maintained and all activity tracked, providing regular and accurate reports to key stakeholders as appropriate.

* Organises and leads project meetings ensuring all key actions are recorded and carried out on time.

* Understands and manages any issues, risks and change appropriately.

* Ensures that the project is formally closed, reviewed and that lessons learnt are captured and actioned.

* Working closely with the team, our share registrar, printer and other third parties to understand the business requirements and relevant test scenarios with focus on acceptance testing and proofing of content.

* Execute test cases and log outcomes, comparing actual with expected.

* Occasional travel to check output off-site

* Discuss results with third parties, agree priorities, and discuss and agree solutions.

* Adhere to company policies and guidelines surrounding your responsibilities when working with sensitive and confidential data and information.

KEY CHALLENGES

* Working often within very tight timescales, the job holder must be able to work on multiple tasks, and prioritise and plan in a fast-paced environment where change is ever-present.

* Managing changes effectively, ensuring key stakeholders are kept up to date.

* The job holder must work efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy, often under pressure.

* Continually seek to improve current processes and procedures

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential

* Proven project management experience

* Extensive experience of user acceptance testing and test methodologies

* Can demonstrate a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail

* Excellent analytical skills to understand test coverage

* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

* A proactive and organised self-starter with excellent communication skills, who is motivated to get the job done and flexible in their approach.

* Able to build effective relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external
