Senior Digital RTL Design and Automation Engineer - Ireland

My client, undoubtedly one of the world's most successful fabless Semiconductor companies is looking for a Senior RTL Design and Automation Engineer to join their silicon team in Southern Ireland.

Consistently ranked as one of the best companies to work for, my client is leading the way in wireless and telecommunications innovation. The Irish silicon design centre is set for considerable further expansion and they seek an experienced Digital RTL Design Engineer to be responsible for the design of SoC infrastructure designs like bus, memory controller, and processor integration. You'll be a knowledgeable in ARM AMBA protocols, and be able to develop innovative automation tools for RTL & verification component generation.

Required:

· A University degree (Bachelor's degree minimum) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar

· Several years' experience working within Digital ASIC Design, with real expertise within RTL coding in Verilog

· A good understanding of design of bus, protocol bridges (AHB, AXI), memory controllers, processors

· Working knowledge of automation Perl / Python / Shell scripting
