A Software Developer is required to work for one of our public sector clients based in Manchester. As a Software Developer you will work closely with colleagues in the Digital Applications Development team and Research Services to design, implement and test a new system to support reliable and robust compliance reporting for an Open Access Gateway.

Software Developer Requirements:

* Good organisational and planning skills, ability to work individually or within a team, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of user requirement gathering techniques.

* Experiencing of developing systems using a proven 'life cycle' methodology, in particular agile development.

* Extensive experience of web application development, knowledge of current web technologies including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSLT, JSON etc.

* Proven expertise of MEAN-stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js)

* Knowledge and experience of developing RESTful web services.
