Project Support Officer - Contract - 3 months (initially) - Dorset. My client, a leading UK University is looking for a Project Support Office for an initial 3 month contract. Please see below an outline of activities as well as preferred experience. It is felt that someone with experience in the areas my client will be working on such as windows 10 roll-outs, including desktop and mobile devices, would provide added benefit as well as a greater understanding of project activities/objectives but this is not essential. An understanding of project governance and methodology is though. High level duties:

* Attending meetings and producing minutes

* Booking meetings and circulating agendas & papers

* Aiding Business Analyst activity by co-ordinating attendance at workshops

* Booking meetings and project resources for procurement stage activities

* Preparation and coordination of procurement scoring processes

* Preparing for supplier demonstrations

* Coordination of supplier deliverables as part of the procurement process i.e. scheduling delivery of IT equipment

* Preparing for and attending supplier site reference visits - most likely conducted over the telephone, no requirement for off-site visits

* Managing project SharePoint site and communications

* Assisting with Market investigations

* Chasing up status on project activities assigned to teams

* Assisting the Project Manager in tracking project activities to meet objectives

Required experience:

* Ability to liaise with IT teams

* Windows 7/10 migrations

* Desktop deployment/refresh activities

* Business application identification and testing

* Working knowledge of Windows 10
