Role: PMO/Practice Manager
Location: Kent, UK
Role Description
To manage/support continual professional excellence within the Project & BA Practice through effective capability development, process re-engineering, resource management, quality assurance & leadership, ensuring the practice has the skills, capability and capacity to meet the needs of the current and planned change portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Assists and executes Project Manager & Business Analysis Practice plans for capability development, recruitment, succession plans, knowledge management and knowledge retention.
* Supports the Head of Practice Management to develop capability for the Project & BA Practice
* Supports effective resource and capacity management for the Project & BA Practice
* Supports the production of quality deliverables by developing and maintaining professional standards and agreeing a quality management system aligned to the client's processes and standards.
* Establish the communities of practice
* Maximise the value obtained from the practice
Required Experience
1 Extensive experience of creating best practice methodologies
2 Ability to interact and Influence team members and senior stakeholders of a FTSE100 business
3 Would have a wide experience end to end project lifecycles, and influence Project / Programme Management teams
4 Previously worked in a mixed internal / outsourced model
