QA Engineer / Software Tester / Test Analyst / Cheshire / £35-53,000 + benefitsA world leading organisation in Cheshire are looking for a Test Engineer to join a talented engineering team to help develop a framework and analytical applications. They're looking for a creative and innovative Engineer to bring new ideas from areas including UI design, mobile, data storage, networking, distributed computing, data processing.You'll be joining a cross functional team to work closely with architects and management. '€¢Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases covering all aspects of the software.'€¢Work in close partnership with software developers to improve product quality.'€¢Provide supporting documentation in accordance with the software development processes and codes of practice.'€¢Communicate with internal and external users to provide software and technical support.'€¢Be creative in identifying opportunities for improved productivity, efficiency and quality.'€¢Develop strong working relationships with other departments.

Qualifications:

'€¢Degree (or equivalent) in a science, engineering or computing related subject.'€¢Previous technical and software testing experience.'€¢Are passionate about software testing which you can clearly convey by your actions and experiences.'€¢Have the ability to solve complex problems.'€¢Are able to work under your own guidance.'€¢And have excellent communication and decision-making skills.'€¢Experience testing software for analytical instrumentation would be desirable.

Desirables:

'€¢Experience with C# programming (or another programming language eg. Java)'€¢BDD / TDD'€¢Gherkin / Cucumber'€¢SpecFlow'€¢Continuous integration / Delivery'€¢Web, desktop or mobile automation (Selenium Webdriver, Ranorex, Browser Stack)
