Junior Performance Analyst

We are currently looking for a Junior Performance Analyst/ Data Analyst in order to analyze client portfolio and account performance and to ensure a reliable data reporting process. This is a contract opportunity with a financial institution in Zurich.

Tasks

* Global Investment Performance Standards compliance and handle GIPS related topics from all areas/locations of the bank

* Ensure the implementation of the CIO views in the bank's Portfolio Management System in terms of internal tactical grids upload; ensure accuracy and completeness

* Maintenance of the internal performance data related systems

* Monitor and review performance development of client accounts and identify/analyze performance outliers

* Generate and review performance analysis reports; analyze the results in terms of performance contribution and/or attribution

* Enhance and/or develop IT solutions to handle performance measurement related topics

Requirements

* Banking apprenticeship and/or higher education in economics/finance (master or bachelor degree)

* Background in Banking & Finance, ideally in Investment Performance Analysis

* Experience in a similar position as Data Analyst/System Analyst

* IT knowledge (MS Office, MS Access), profound knowledge of VBA and/or SQL

* Fluency in spoken and written German and English
