Leading Investment Bank in London are looking to expand their Front Office Risk and Control team. This will be operating on the trading floor and covering Equities, Credit, Rates and FX working closely with the Front Office and the Business.

Successful candidates will come from an operations or middle office background and have exposure to front office controls, hands on experience of implementing controls for conduct and reputational risk is highly desirable.

Accountabilities:

* Understanding and implementing the front office supervision and controls arrangements using the firm's tools

* Helping to drive control initiatives globally to ensure the business is effectively managing all of its operational and conduct risks.

* Working with control partners to update policies, procedures and controls to reflect changes in the regulatory rules (Dodd Frank, EMIR, MIFID etc) that apply to the global business.

* Understanding and helping access root cause and mitigating controls for operational losses and errors and developing and improving routines to capture control metrics for reporting Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

Requirements:

* Relevant product knowledge across Equities, Credit, Rates and FX

* Highly organised and with strong attention to detail

* Experience of analysing and implementing risk controls within banking

* Ability to influence and negotiate across all areas and levels of the organisation

* Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize
