Exciting opportunities in Police ICT across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire have arisen due to our restructuring programme, bringing together the ICT departments across the 3 Forces.

We believe Police ICT is a great place to work and offers a truly unique working life, delivering complex technical projects, infrastructure, platforms and applications using a wide variety of modern technology. No day will be the same as the previous one. You will be making a real difference by providing the best ICT service possible to our police officers and staff colleagues delivering our shared mission in fighting crime and keeping our communities safe.

We offer a fantastic range of benefits including flexible and agile working arrangements, as well as the chance to develop and progress your career in the many ICT disciplines within the department. Of course we offer the usual benefits of working for the Police including - public sector pension, paid holidays, flexible work base for most roles at HQ sites, leisure facilities and tax efficient childcare vouchers.

This role is critical in helping policing achieve its strategic and corporate goals by independently delivering small projects and supporting Project Managers to enable the efficient delivery of large complex projects e.g. delivering work-packages in a timely way or developing documentation and processes to ensure smooth transition into operations. You will be involved in delivering solutions which make a real impact on policing, using a wide variety of modern technology, using our pragmatic application of PRINCE2 . You may also be involved with the design and delivery of Project Management Office functions for the Projects team.
