Network Architect- Watford - 6 Months.

Experienced Network Architect to form architectural strategy, deliver business critical design and providing operational assistance. Applies complex design principles and methodology to ensure cost-effective and optimal use of resources and technology without jeopardising network integrity.

Provide technical expertise, strategic planning and recommendations to executive management for new technologies and network applications in response to business needs.

Required Skills:

* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks.

* Thorough understanding of modern enterprise TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP4, MPLS, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.1ah

* Superior knowledge, skills and experience with Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols etc.

* CCIE Routing and Switching and 'CCIE Data Center' certification or CCDE certification is preferred.

* Preferred vendor certification on at least one SDN Controller platform such as VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI or Nuage VSP.

* Expertise with - DCLAN and WAN technologies: Segment Routing, VXLAN, Load Balancers (Citrix/F5) and either of SDWAN technologies- Cisco iWAN, Viptela, Riverbed and Talari.

* Expertise with -Campus LAN Switches and WLAN - Controller configuration and Cisco ISE integrations.

* Experience with SDN (Software Defined Networking) protocols including Open flow.

* Familiarity with storage and server vitalisation technologies and dependencies to network infrastructure.

* Experience in multivendor network devices configuration - i.e. HPE, Brocade and Juniper.
