Senior Engineering Project Manager (Capex / Pharma): Stevenage: Up to £70k+Package

Huxley Engineering and a Major Name in the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Production & Manufacture are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their large Production facility in the Stevenage (Hertfordshire, / Cambridgeshire) area, due to a multi-£million Capital Programme of Works coming up for the site in 2019 - 2023.

Reporting into the Engineering Director, the role of the Senior Project Manager is critical to the delivery of the capital portfolio / programme of works and will be responsible for the following:

* Responsibility for project & portfolio /programme delivery, from feasibility through specification, capex justification, machinery sourcing, installation and commissioning (including monitoring and management of change

* Manage the validation process for allocated projects including liaison with QA and Production and Ensure compliance of allocated projects with HSE, GMP procedures including performance auditing.

* Develop project objectives and current / future requirements by working with stakeholders and departments across the business

* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.

* Determining project schedules, sequencing of works and progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems

* Manage resource requirement to ensure sufficient resources are available to execute the project portfolio in an effective and efficient manner

Specifically, my client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has the following:

* Degree educated in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering

* Previous project management experience of capital project delivery in a Pharmaceutical / Lifesciences / Medical / BioSciences Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Process environment

* Previous experience of Project Management Software

* Good IT skills, especially Excel for data analysis

* IOSH / NEBOSH (Optional)
