Principal Developer / Development Manager . Located in Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2 this brand new .NET team is being built and you will be the most senior person on this brand new team.

In this Principal Developer / Development Manager role you will define the architecture along-side their CTO. Be responsible for the delivery of each release, work with the PMO team - take ownership and responsibility for a release. Review code - if time write code 40%. Capable of making the right technical decision is key within this role. You will be pragmatic in your approach.

They are hiring a new team of 8. You will be most Senior person on the team and we will hire 4 more .NET backend developers to work along-side you, the remainder of the team will be front-end professionals.

You and your team will join a highly established technical product company who have 70+ Software Engineers working them already. Located in their brand new office space in Dublin 2.

Your background will be a strong C# developer with a passion to want to build a new .NET product using the latest technology. You will have architecture skills, team lead skills and have managed a small team previously. They understand a lot of this is very new technology so on the job learning and training will be provided to get you up to speed. But you already will be highly technical.

.NET Core

ASP.NET Core

Migrated to Amazon Aurora My SQL

REST API

Move WebUI project to a separate CI/CD process

Repository changes

Separate solutions file - CI for each Microservices

Cloudification / Public cloud computing

Dev Ops / Continuous delivery

Docker/ Serverless

SQL - must be able to write SQL and joins, inserts, objects

No ORM's
