They're on the look-out for a Lead IT Systems Administrator to provide ongoing IT Systems support to our staff members, ensuring that their systems are up to date, backed up and secure. You will deal with third party supplier of software, hardware, telephony and internet services to ensure a smooth operation and take ownership of their current infrastructure with a view to growing and improving it.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Lead the IT Systems Department and be the primary point of contact for all IT Systems related matters

* Manage the performance of the IT Systems Administrators, and provide the team with the required support and training

* Implement new IT Systems and processes as part of projects aimed at enhancing the company's IT infrastructure

* Provide the Director and CEO with detailed reports, providing updates on different areas of the IT Systems infrastructure

* Support the Web Development Team by managing website hosting, domains and SSL certificates

Ideally, you'll have a high level of technical knowledge relating to installation and management of company wide networks, as well as supporting development teams and operations.

You'll be passionate about your chosen technology field and be able to demonstrate a genuine desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Above all, you'll need to have demonstrable experience in the following:

* Windows Server (2008 R2 / 2016)

* Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

* Previous experience of Active Directory

* Hyper-V

* Experience of managing a firewall and anti-virus software and server

* Veeam

* Microsoft Office 365

* Previous experience of scripting (Bash, Powershell)

* Linux/apache/Nginx

* 1st/2nd/3rd line support experience

* Experience of managing a team

* Previous experience of building and managing a Disaster Recovery programme
