You will form part of a core team that works closely with users of the CI/CD platform to understand emerging new requirements with a focus on optimising inefficient parts of the end-to-end process. Be part of a company who have changed the way they design and implement software ensuring their customer is the driving focus. They have removed the layers between the user and the technology team using Agile methodologies to drive feature teams and have embraced the world of open source technologies to ensure they are evolving with the fast pace world of technology. They are now looking to scale their workforce to make sure they aren't only keeping up with the pace but being the pace setters.

They are looking are offering a multidisciplinary engineering role to enhance and support CI/CD pipeline features, deployment scripts and quality thresholds.

Skills needed:

* CI/CD Pipeline Development with Jenkins

* Docker

* Java/Groovy with Gradle

* Spring Boot

* RESTful service development

* Git

* Shell Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)

* TLS handshake protocol

Other skills:

* Amazon Web Services

* Kubernetes

* Experience using WebFlux or Vert.x

* Test automation with Cucumber/Geb/Apium

* Application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Jetty)

* SQL Databases (MariaDB / Postgres)

* ELK or Splunk dashboard development

Day to day:

* Help engage teams adopt strategic conventions around CI/CD

* Use 12-Factor-app principles to develop, enhance, maintain CI/CD utilities

* Complete technically-complex assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements

* Evaluate and review emerging system engineering methods, tools and standards. Look for ways to apply as appropriate

* Interact with Architects to resolve issues faced

* Check technical engineering quality standards / benchmarks are met and being reactive when problems arise
