This is a fixed term contract for 14 months.

My Client is looking for a Project Officer who will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager. The main purpose of Project officer will be to help manage, support and maintain various projects to meet defined objectives and follow the correct procedures and standards.

This will also involve:

* Strategy and Planning

* Business support

* Data Management

* Advice and Information

* Analysis and Reporting

* Stakeholder Management

* Policy, Process and Systems

* The maintenance and upkeep of project documentation

* Preparation of reporting templates

* Coordinate all projects ( internal and external)

As a Project officer, you will have to ensure you obey and comply with all of the policies and procedures. That includes the equality and diversity legislation as well as the values and behavioural rules set in place.

The ideal Project Officer will have:

* A degree in a relevant sector or have experience in a similar field

* Prince 2 foundation or equivalent

* A good understanding of how to support a project and programme management environment

* Strong organisational skills

* Good experience of running administration departments and carrying out admin duties

* Experience in Matrix Management

* A good understanding of external issues such as; best practice standards, legislative and regulatory.

The project manager must be able to:

* Be creative and think of new ideas to make the company successful

* Be able to hold themselves accountable as well as others to achieve results in testing situations.

* Working within a team to meet shared objectives

* Facing challenges head on, and completing tasks in a timely manner and be able to do so with enthusiasm and drive.
