This is a fixed term contract for 14 months.

My Client is looking for a Project Manager who will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager. The main purpose of Project Manager will be to manage and support various small to medium projects and to meet defined objectives and follow the correct procedures and standards.

This will also involve:

* Strategy and Planning

* Business support

* Data Management

* Analysis and Reporting

* Collaborate with stakeholders and third parties

* The maintenance and upkeep of project documentation

* Preparation of reporting templates

* Deliver and assist small to medium projects

* Complete intricate tasks in a timely manner

* Managing budgets and finances of all projects

* Negotiate with contractors and suppliers

* Undertake assigned duties

* Review progress by monitoring activity ahead of weekly/monthly meetings

As a Project Manager you will have to ensure you obey and comply with all of the policies and procedures and legislation. That includes the equality and diversity, GDPR, Risk Management, Safety Management and more.

You will be working closely with local transport authorities, the department of transport, and national agencies.

The ideal Project Manager:

* A degree in a relevant sector

* Experience of rolling out software products within a demanding sector

* Experience of completing projects within the public sector

* Experience rolling out country wide software and infrastructure solutions

* A professional qualification, chartered or equivalent

* A good understanding of project and programme management

* A good understanding of external issues such as; best practice standards, legislative and regulatory.

* A proven record of managing complex and relevant projects

The project manager must be able to:

* Be able to collate clear and concise technical and non-technical reports

* Be creative and think of new ideas to make the company successful

* Be able to hold themselves accountable as well as others to achieve results in testing situations.

* Working within a team to meet shared objectives

* Facing challenges head on, and completing tasks in a timely manner and be able to do so with enthusiasm and drive.
