Cheshire DevOps Engineer

£35,000- £42,000

Looking for : A multidisciplinary engineering role to enhance and support CI/CD pipeline features, deployment scripts and quality thresholds. You will form part of a core team that works closely with users of the CI/CD platform to understand emerging new requirements with a focus on optimising inefficient parts of the end-to-end process.

Day to day:

* Help engaged teams adopt strategic conventions around CI/CD

* Use 12-Factor-app principles to develop, enhance, maintain CI/CD utilities

* Complete technically-complex assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements

* Evaluate and review emerging system engineering methods, tools and standards. Look for ways to apply as appropriate

* Interact with Architects to resolve issues faced

* Check technical engineering quality standards / benchmarks are met and being reactive when problems arise

* Where system development is part of a wider set of interdependent systems changes, collaborate with the Systems Designers from the other areas to ensure end-to-end technical integrity of the development, leading this collaboration when required.
