An expanding company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join its team based in Blackburn.As the Maintenance Team Leader, your duties will be to:
Be responsible for the efficient and effective control of tool changing.Support maintenance with responsive repairs.Deal with tool changes, tool setting and tool cleaning efficiently. Ensuring, where possible, all departments are operating at 100%.Ensure all first offs and checks are completed and adhering to the quality standard set.Ensure all materials are available for production.Organise and take control of the Shift in the absence of the Shift Manager.Provide cover, including shift changes, for holidays and sickness.Inform maintenance / technical in regard to any stoppages.Mentor and guide new operators / processes.
To be a successful Maintenance Team Leader you will have the following skills and experience:
A Time served Engineer.Experience in hydraulic machinery.Experience of pneumatic machinery.Ability to read and interpret engineering / technical drawings.Computer skills, including EXCEL and email.Ability to command trust and respect from all levels of staff.Ability to maintain a professional attitude with staff at all levels.Previous experience of similar mechanical engineering role(s).Previous supervisory experience preferred.Electrical experience.Rubber processing experience.Experience in continuous improvement activities.Experience of T.P.M. activities.
The Leader will be working 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 1pm / 1pm - 8pm on Friday’s.
In return, the Team Leader will receive a salary of £27,000 - £29,000 per annum (Including Shift Allowances) plus 33 days including Bank Holidays.
