Technical Architect, Cheshire, £85,000, Home Working!

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Architect to join a large entity in the financial sector. The role is for an Architect to join a specialist team working closely with developers, business analysts and project managers globally to deliver major core platform implementations.

The Role:

* Define the systems architecture based upon a clear understanding of the business domain and user requirements so that development teams are able to deliver high quality solutions that align to modern best practice technical architectures.

* Align to quality assurance standards and best practices for development of testable solutions.

* Take ownership of the delivery of key architectural enhancements and extensions

* Provide guidance and career progression to more junior members of the team

The Requirements;

* Extensive knowledge of service technologies - namely several of the following; AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, JUnit

* Experience leading a team using Agile project management, including continuous integration / delivery with significant automated unit testing

* Knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
