An opportunity has arisen to join this small and friendly development team based in Weston-super-Mare. They are looking for a bright, talented and passionate individual who is self-motivated and wants to advance in the IT sector.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong interest in developing software across a number of different platforms. You will be using a variety of resources and development languages to develop their Windows application, websites, and mobile applications.

This is a 4 year apprenticeship and the successful candidate will finish this course with a degree in Digital and Technology Solutions and will continue to work in the company at a competitive salary rate and will be working alongside their existing developers, continuing the development and support of their software, primarily using Vb.Net and Microsoft SQL. You will also be required to learn how their software works to be able to offer support for their clients using remote support software.

The successful candidate will also be required to attend college for 1 day of the week to support the degree learning requirements

Skills required: Some experience or knowledge of vb.Net and MS SQL would be ideal

Personal Qualities Required: An enthusiastic and professional attitude, commitment to learning new skills, reliable and honest work ethics

Qualifications Required: At least five GCSEs grades A*-C, including English and Maths.

Level 3 qualifications such as A levels or BTEC National (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (ie maths, IT, or another science)
