Job Description

Reporting to the Clinical Application Delivery Manager, the Senior QA Analyst is responsible for planning, delivering, measuring and supporting all aspects of Quality Assurance and the Quality Management System for the clinical application portfolio defined by the Portfolio Management process & internal application team requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assure quality based on risk and change scope/requirements..

Ensure approach to quality assurance is aligned with architecture and driven by agreed policy.

Estimate quality assurance and testing efforts and construct/contribute to work plans for delivery.

Advocate use of appropriate tools and templates for testing.

Adhere to and contribute towards testing development standards and processes.

Define and support an ongoing process of user acceptance testing across all customers

Skills and Experience

Experience in software development life-cycle quality assurance and management

Experience in the Information Technology field with broad technical experience in a variety of application systems, QA tools, Quality Management System delivery, and quality techniques and technologies

In-depth experience designing and implementing quality assurance plans for medium to large application solutions

Experience with assuring the quality of a variety of clinical healthcare products (e.g. PAS solutions), system integration solutions (e.g. MQ Series, Broker, Cloverleaf, Cast Iron, Biztalk, Weblogic), and Web Services (SOAP, XML, REST)

Experience of Services Oriented Architectures (SOA)

Experience of Internet Technology and tools

Experience of Databases (Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server) ? Experience of Operating Systems (Windows Server, VMware)
