Mechanical Engineer / Product / Medical / Development To be based in Dublin Duration: 6 months contractKey Skills: Mechanical, Product, Medical Device, SolidWorks, ProjectI have a brand new requirement for a Product/Mechanical Design Engineer to work in Ireland for my client who requires a contractor for an initial 3-6 months. My client specialises in the design and development of various medical device applications. In particular, they are looking for individuals the following experience;- Utilize Solidworks software to create and modify mechanical components.- Maintain CAD data within Solidworks PDM system- Collaborate with vendors to produce mechanical components and assemblies- Create engineering drawings, both 3D and 2D.- Maintain Bill of materials accuracy- Responsible for recording and sharing technical knowledge gained with colleagues.- Working with cross functional team members to ensure completeness in documentation.- Adhere to design control and risk management policies.Advantageous;- Experience with Medical Device Directive (MDD), ISO 13485, FDA design controls or similar regulatory environment- Tolerance analysis
