Job title: Oracle EBS Architect - Dublin, Ireland

Length: 6 month daily rate contract, there is an 18 months' worth of extensions possible, already written into the contract.

Start date: 6th of August 2018 or as soon after.

Public Sector Body Information:

This public sector body has been recently established to work on services across the public sector. They have 2 projects currently and offices in 8 locations. Your project will be for 4 years to help standardise processes and improve the public sector. It will be 8 hours work per day.

This role ERP Architect will work within the Functional Work Stream called P2P (Procurement to Pay) under the direction of the work stream lead. They will have a number of peers with knowledge of Requisitioning, Procurement, Payables and Expenses. You will be required to bring Oracle E Business Suite subject matter expertise to help design, test and validate the P2P solution. They be required to interact with the System Implementer who will be providing the core application solution. The Architect will have no direct reports.

Oracle EBS Architect duties:

1 Proactively manage relationships between the project team (incorporating civil servants, advisors and contractors), clients, and the system implementation partner to ensure successful design and build of the new solution. This role will demand from time to time the facilitating of workshops to close out design issues, triage defects from testing cycles and/or assist in the configuration of the system to meet the requirements of the end user.

2 Gather and articulate functional and user business requirements for the new single technology platform

3 Analyse business critical requirements specific to each individual client and develop functional specifications for modifications approved by the Project Change Authority

4 Lead contact with the system implementation partner on the design, build and testing for the common footprint design and standardised finance processes including:

* Articulating requirements and participating with the system implementation partner in the design of common footprint

* Supporting the system implementation partner during the build process and ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer within the project team to facilitate and understand the built solution

* Developing test scripts and carrying out functional, product and integrated systems testing

* Developing training materials and directing the delivery of end user training (EUT)

* Provide support to other project work streams in particular:

1 Technical for ICT infrastructure and performance readiness testing

2 Deployment for data migration, training, UAT, change readiness preparations and post go-live support

* Provide business process advice and support to facilitate the project change control and quality assurance process, with specific responsibility for quality assurance sign-off on the agreed Project Business Process deliverables,

Oracle EBS Architect Skillsets:

Mandatory

* Experience, on a minimum of 2 previous projects/contracts, of where you have performed a Business Process Architect role as an SME (subject Matter Expert), using the Oracle E Business suite of products.

*

* A minimum of 5 years' experience, over at least 2 previous projects/contracts, which clearly identify that you have led the design of a business process, with specific experience and demonstrable knowledge of the Procure to pay process on the Oracle E Business suite of products.
