About the role

A Tier 1 contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join their, based in Prescot, Leeds or Derby working UK wide (travel & accommodation paid + other expenses). Weekend and evening shifts will form part of this role with overtime arrangements available.

This particular division are a specialist contractor undertaking repair, strengthening, refurbishment and protection of civil and building structures throughout the UK.

Our work includes road and rail bridges, tunnels, highways, marine structures, power stations, water treatment works, multi-storey car parks, residential and commercial buildings, and heritage structures. We also undertake post-tensioning installation works to bridges, tunnels and circular tanks.

What you'll be doing

As a Site Supervisor, you will:

* Ensure that the works are constructed in accordance with the contract drawings, specification and Project Management Plan;

* Manage site dimensional control ensuring that contractors have the facilities for setting out of the works;

* Produce and review construction methods statements ensuring that the works are constructed efficiently and safely;

* Work to programmes, measuring progress and productivity outputs;

* Support and drive behavioural safety on site

Who we're looking for

You will have:

* Experience in delivery of structural repair/specialist repair projects;

* Experience of working on Infrastructure schemes;

* The ability to manage teams efficiently;

* The ability to manage individual scheme costs;

* The ability to manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety;

* The ability to lead, communicate and influence with others to deliver targets.
