Group Manager Analog ASIC Design

A well renown supplier of the automotive industry in Germany is looking for a Group Manager Analog ASIC Design to lead a team of 20+ Analog ASIC Designers in the product development of analog smart power for automotive applications from chip to product release.

As he successful Group manager of the Analog ASIC Design team for automotive applications up to industrialisation you will be responsible for the technical and vocational development of the group and the individual Analog ASIC Designers and make sure they are assigned to the right projects in the context of achieving product release within tight time frames.

You will be responsible for organising the team as well as competence management for Analog IC Design, including the management of design teams based in Asia.

In addition you will support the head of department in hiring new staff and will provide technical project support. You will be expected to manage resources for projects an supervise designers an team leaders alike.

The successful Group Leader is industry degree qualified and has very deep technical understanding of ASIC development, Analog IC Design and related industrialization for automotive products plus very good understanding of project management and general management skills.

Your leadership skills make you stand out from the crowd and you communicate very well in English as well as at least some German or you are willing to taking a crash course in German prior to commencement of employment.
