Business Intelligence Analyst - Sunderland - 6 months
Business Intelligence Analyst required to join a multinational telecommunications company based in Sunderland on a 6-month contract.
You must have experience building self-serve reporting solutions, including the design and creation of front-end tools like Oracle Business Intelligence dashboards
Responsibilities:
You will:
* Deliver and own self-serve reporting solutions via Oracle Business Intelligence dashboards that provide a deep understanding of the client's products, how the business is performing and the key drivers.
* Take a holistic view of the reporting requirements of the business and use your expertise to interpret systems, processes and data to design brilliant solutions.
* Lead on the projects to deliver new self-serve reporting solutions, from requirements capture, to designing the content and output, to working with the developers building the solutions, to test and sign-off of the final delivery, and managing stakeholders throughout the process.
* Maintain quality governance and controls to ensure consistent and accurate results are produced.
* Focus on process improvement and technology automation to improve customers' experience and efficiency, driving deeper extensive use of self-serve OBI reporting solutions.
* Working with the developers to implement new capabilities, and applying best practice Business Intelligence standards
Skills
* Experience building self-serve reporting solutions, including the design and creation of front-end tools like Oracle Business Intelligence dashboards or equivalent
* Experience in leading projects, from requirements capture, stakeholder management to supplier-led deliveries
* Advanced Excel
* SQL experience
* Value reporting / Revenue reporting / Customer reporting experience
* High numeracy skills, naturally inquisitive, with attention for detail
* Ability to explain complex data in a way which customers can relate to and make decisions from
* MBA, Degree or equivalent
Desirable: Telecommunications background
