Software Designer/Consultant - Leeds - up to £60,000 + 20% Pension + Share Scheme

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Solutions Designer/Consultant to join a Dynamic and forward thinking Software company. Reporting into the Head of Professional Services, your responsibilities will include being the client and business point of contact across a full SDLC, from Design, Development and Delivery. Although this role will not involve "hands on" Development, you will need to have a great technical understanding and previous experience ideally as a Developer or possibly Analyst programmer would be seen as favourable, as would basic SQL Scripting knowledge. The main purpose of the role will involve customer engagement and therefore it is imperative that you are presentable and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Your primary duties will include:

*Overseeing and providing consultancy for Software Design and development including SQL

*Taking part in workshops with developers, consultants and customers to elaborate problems or design solutions.

To qualify for this role, you will have:

*Experience of the full Software Development lifecyle, with/technical project management or Consultative experience within a commercial environment

*Experience of RDBMS - SQL or Oracle

*Client facing experience

*Contributed effectively within a team & listened to and engaged with customers

*Flexibility and proven track record working to agreed SLA's

Due to the nature of this role, it would be highly desirable to have your own vehicle and full UK Driving License as there will be occasional travel to client sites.. Predominantly however, the role will be based in the company's Leeds offices (free parking provided).
