Head of Software engineering

I am currently in the market for a Head of software engineering for a start-up software house based out of Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development team in Bristol whilst reporting to stakeholders in London, in order to deliver production quality software to external clients. The candidate will have an influence long term in setting up the team and being influential in the business development plans to triple the teams.

Required:

* Vast experience of delivering production quality software in start-up and smaller engineering development teams

* Experience working in a SAAS environment

* Vast experience in senior engineering management - preferably managing smaller teams

* Experience delivering software products full lifecycle to external third-parties

Strong stakeholder management skills

Desirable

* Experience in a multitude of; machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science and analytics software engineering
