A genuine market leader is looking to invest in a driven & dynamic Sales Professional to focus on a set of existing MAT's (Multi-Academy Trusts). The business have a fantastic array of products and services that are bespoke to the Education sector and are both respected and highly regarded within the education industry also.

This role is a sales role, yes there will be retention & renewal opportunities, but the role is about high level account management, growing the accounts by cross selling and up selling and introducing them to new products and services that will deliver value to every department across the Trust. This is a consultative sales role that will appeal to an experienced sales professional who has presented solutions to all levels of decision maker, both one on one & to a board.

Experience selling to the education sector is crucial for this role, whether that be to Multi Academy Trusts, to single schools or to Local Authorities.

Experience selling consultative IT Solutions is also key - whether that be hardware, software or services - we would also look at a background in telecommunications or document management or similar, if the education experience is there.

Key aspects of the role:

1) Selling to existing MAT's (Multi Academy Trusts)

2) High level relationship management up to board level

3) Presenting both one to one & to larger groups

4) Cross selling and Up selling

5) New business

6) Selling Services & Solutions across all departments

7) Demonstrating the software products to your customers

8) Ensuring clients are receiving the best possible service

9) Accurate forecasting to the management team

10) Building a pipeline to ensure the delivery of annual targets

Key experience & skills required:

1) Experience selling to the education sector

2) Highly beneficial would be experience selling to MAT's (Multi Academy Trusts)

3) Experience selling complex IT Solutions, either hardware, software or services

4) Highly beneficial would be software sales experience

5) Would also consider candidates with experience in Telecoms, Document Management or similar.

6) Must be driven to win new business in existing accounts and not just rely on renewals

7) Able to accurately forecast to senior management with credibility

8) This is a field sale role covering the whole of the North or England and will require someone happy to travel

9) A team player but who likes some healthy competition and strives to be the number one in the team!

10) Someone who will work extremely hard and take advantage of the uncapped commission and incentive schemes for over achievement.
