My East Lothian client are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer who will provide technical leadership, design, implementation and support services for the Enterprise Application platform. Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, have excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels across the organisation. Previous experience in BizTalk would be an advantage but consideration given to applicants with experience in other EAI technologies.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical leadership in our enterprise application integration platform (BizTalk)

* Guide and lead the support team including offshore resources

* Accountable for maintaining and supporting all aspects of the Microsoft Biztalk platform in compliance with established best practices, baseline configurations and regulatory controls.

* Design and implement utilities to automate platform activities/processes

* Create and maintain technical system documentation including installation, configuration of interfaces, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

* Improve existing processes with solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.

* Responsible for all development lifecycle deliverables in accordance with the company change control procedures

* Debug of data integrations that use SQL, schemas, maps and orchestrations

* Accountable for coordinating testing activities

* Provide training as required

* Manage customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery

* Maintain change and configuration management processes using Visual Studio Team Services

* Work service desk requests daily to within agreed SLA.

Key Skills

* Experience in: BizTalk, Visual Studio, C#.Net, XML, SQL Server, Powershell TFS, VSTS Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 and other Microsoft Server OS.

* Awareness of Microsoft Azure Integration Services
