An Engineering Mathematician / Applied Research Engineer, qualified to a minimum of Masters level and with outstanding analytical skills, is sought by a renowned High-Tech Company. Expanding their talented team, focused on architecting and designing numerical hardware, this position offering a unique view of the company’s IP.

Applicants must have a strong Mathematical background - having achieved a minimum of a Master’s level Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics or similar, with a PhD being highly beneficial.

As a good team player and with excellent problem solving abilities, the successful Mathematician will have a good understanding of floating point arithmetic and implementation; will ideally have some experience with C, C++, Python, Perl, VHDL and Formal Verification as well as experience with optimising arithmetic hardware.
