Informatica Developer - Financial services - Contract (Informatica, MDM, Powercenter, SQL, Unix, ETL)

An Informatica Developer is required for a financial services client on a contract basis in the heart of London. This role has become available due to a high increase in project work and the need for additional resource to help drive the current and new projects forward and add value to the organisation. As the experienced Informatica developer you will have expert knowledge around Informatica powercenter versions 9.1.0, 9.5.1 and this will include working with web services and messaging queues. As the expert Informatica developer you will also be heavily involved with the design, configuration and implementation of scheduling. Any experience of Informatica MDM 9.7 will be highly desirable.

You will also be required to have excellent general data warehousing skills around Oracle 10g/11g and SQL Server 2014. These skills will be used to continually monitor the performance of the database and also be able to develop stored procedures. This role will also require excellent communication skills as the Informatica developer will be liaising with some areas of the business as well as senior stakeholders. As this role will be working for a financial services organisation any previous experience of working in this environment will be highly desirable however not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a financial services organisation on an initial 3-6 months contract with the view for extension. This role will be paying around £475-500 a day dependant on experience.

Essential skills and experience

* Expert knowledge in Informatica Powercenter Version (9.1.0, 9.5.1)

* Any experience Informatica MDM 9.7 will be highly desirable

* Data warehousing development experience with Oracle 10g/11g and SQL Server 2014

* ETL Development

* Any experience of Unix or Pearl scripting
