Technical Project Manager - Government - London - 3 months+

Skype and Telephony Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technical project manager to join a central government organisation and work closely with the Programme Team as well as the Technology Teams to assist in the delivery of Skype for Business Technology.

The Technical project manager will work on a range of Skype related deliverables at any given time using Agile working methodologies.

Knowledge:

*A successful track record of managing and delivering Skype technology within a large and complex organisation. From initial design, through to system testing and handover to support, including management of budgets and procurement.

*Specific knowledge and experience of delivering contact centre solutions, VPN for third party support and the deployment of analogue media gateways.

*Experience and knowledge of TDM and IP Telephony

*Experience of moving skype products through to security accreditation

*Advanced knowledge and experience of using project management tools and techniques to deliver complex technical projects (such as agile, Prince2).

*Good understanding and experience of procurement methodologies and negotiating with 3rd party providers.

*Experience of stakeholder and supplier management.

*The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

*Is proactive takes action and anticipates opportunities.

*Flexibility and a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn, explore and develop new skills

Desirable

*Experience of networking technologies

*Experience of security technologies
