Junior PHP Software Developer Telford!

My client based in Telford are looking to hire a Junior PHP Software Developer with exposure to Object Oriented PHP Development. to join their existing development team! This is a newly created role and is an expansion based role due to continued success!

The Junior Software Developer will work with the entire project team to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, within the Agile framework, translating business requirements into solutions for internal and external customers. He or she drives continuous improvement within the department by streamlining existing processes and bringing new ideas.

As part of the Software Development Team you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining web based management interfaces to support the company's products and services

Core responsibilities on this role include, but are not limited to:

Designing, installing, testing and maintenance of software systems.

- OO Programming, ideally PHP ( OOP)

- Developing and designing new solutions for business requirements

- Systems Design and supporting existing systems

*Mentoring of more junior developers

The successful candidate will have an IT related degree or relevant apprenticeship. You should have commercial experience in:

-Understanding and experience of Object Oriented Design and Programming

-Web development coding experience in PHP, with frameworks such as Laravel;

-Strong web UI-level coding experience in MVC, HTML, CSS, Javascript + popular libraries and frameworks;

-Knowledge of unit and integration testing aspects;

-Ability to manage a demanding workload;

-Given the nature of the role the Junior Software Developer will need to be a strong communicator and team player, with demonstrable drive and the aptitude to learn.

In return for your skills my client is offering a salary up to £30000 plus an excellent benefits package, including free parking and state of the art offices!
