Position: Permanent Building Services Manager

Location: Manchester

Remuneration: Circa £50,000 + Package

Client and Opportunity

The outfit is going from strength to strength, and whilst undergoing a period of substantial growth they are looking to bring a new full time Building Services Manager along with them the client is a large national contractor, with a strong regional presence. They specialise in projects in these sectors; Residential, Student accommodation, Health, Hospitals and Retail.

As the Building Services Manager you will deliver on projects through their full life cycle gaining valuable experience on a wide range of project types.

The ideal Building Services Manager

An ambitious and courageous Building Services Manager who can take charge of sites and maintain a cool head throughout a projects life cycle. Also having strong experience with the MEP packages is essential, having an electrical bias to their skill set is desirable.

Coming from a main contractor background or well-known subcontractor would beneficial; due to the nature of the projects an understanding of utilities and diversions is needed. This will enable the successful Building Services Manager to work the full life cycle of a project and progress through the company.

It is imperative that the Building Services Manager has a strong understanding Mechanical and electric supply chains and how to manage them. A good local knowledge of subcontractors is also essential to ensure the supply chains are maintained.
