Applications Support Analyst 50k - 65k base + bonus + bens

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a keystone member of London's banking community. An individual is sought to join a team of 4 Application Support Analysts that (with support from an off-shore team) provide day today support for tier 1 critical financial trading market data applications. UNIX scripting skills are key here. This is a great opportunity for an individual to move into the vibrant IT banking sector or further consolidate and build on skills.
Key skills:
Strong scripting skills: UNIX shell scripting (bash, korn shell)
Some level of experience across some of the following:
Java based distributed platforms.
MQ Server
Middleware
Financial trading applications experience
Pricing knowledge for different Asset classes-Swaps, FX NDF, Fixed Income, REPO
Asset Control
SQL
Spring Framework
Eclipse
Maven
Understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies
Investment banking / capital markets
Market data - bloomberg / reuters

to 55k base + good benefits package with cash options and a good bonus scheme.
This role may suit an individual who has held the following job titles: Applications Support Engineer, IT Consultant, Support Analyst, Developer, Platform Engineer.
UNIX / Linux skills including scripting skills are key in this role.
