My client is based in Yorkshire and is looking for an experienced analogue design engineer who has also worked on power supplies.

The client is looking for somebody to start as soon as possible although they are looking for a quality engineer with experience and are happy to wait a period of time for somebody with experience in both analogue electronics and power supply design.

You will be working in a small team of electronics designers who work alongsed another small team of embedded software engineers so any knowledge of embedded software would be advantageous.

Required experience:

* Proven experience with both analogue and power supply design

* SMPS and DC convertors/invertors

* Experience of LED lighting/industrial lighting

Desirable:

* Mixed signal design

* Understanding of embedded software
