Project Manager - Government - London or Birmingham - 8 months

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced project manager to join a central government organisation within their Modern Slavery and human trafficking unit and be responsible for maintaining track of the project risks and issues, time-frames and deliverables on agency templates, providing regular formal and dynamic reporting to the Programme Manager, Portfolio Office and Change Committee as directed.
The Project Manager needs to have professional project management qualifications.
Industry-recognised Programme and Project Management (PPM) qualification:
*PRINCE2 Practitioner
*Agile Project Management Practitioner
*APM Project Management Qualification
*APM Practitioner Qualification.
Essential
Experience of managing projects and evidence of doing so successfully.
Good understanding of project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques including: requirements management, planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting and cost management, risk and issue management, quality management, governance, frameworks and methodologies, stakeholder engagement, assurance, change control and benefits management.
Understanding of other project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques including: commercial and procurement, solutions development, business change and implementation, business case development, asset allocation and knowledge management.
Proven experience of managing a team or first line management.
Experienced in effective decision making with accountability for decisions made.
Experience of analysing information from a range of sources.
Experience of planning.
SC enhanced clearance will be required in order to start in this position
