Engineering Director / Head of Engineering / Senior Management / Design / Manufacturing / Machinery / Healthcare / Strategic Management / Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager Based in Dorset, commutable from Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood and Salisbury, my client is an established SME looking to bring in an experience individual on board who has a proven track record in Senior Management, ideally at or close to Board Level. Replacing an individual who has recently left, my client can accommodate immediate starts for the right individual. The salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience and my client offer a competitive benefits package. Essential Skills

'€¢Technical background in Mechanical Engineering - Design/Manufacturing/Production '€¢Proven experience leading engineering functions for an SME '€¢Strategic business management '€¢NPD '€¢Ability to be hands on when necessary '€¢Understanding of electro-mechanical principles '€¢Team and Project Management '€¢Experience in multi-disciplinary teams - Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Maintenance 

The role of this individual will be to oversee the engineering function for the business, including Design and Manufacturing. The team is around 17 strong, so a desire to be 'hands on' when necessary is essential, as is a clear track record in strategic management in a manufacturing environment. This is a brand-new requirement and my client are looking to fill the positions as soon as possible.
