My Edinburgh based client is currently looking to add an additional Senior Systems Administrator to their team, with particular focus on Azure. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to increase their focus on Cloud and Automation.

What will the role involve?

In this role you will be providing technical support to both internal and external stakeholders in respect of bespoke software and the platforms on which they sit. You will act as a senior point of escalation for more junior members of the team and will support the wider business by focusing on continual improvement and producing internal process documentation.

You will be a methodical and innovative individual who can support business change, while deputising for management where appropriate.

What experience do I require?

Minimum of 5 years technical hands on desktop and server support experience for 1st to 3rd line support

Azure experience

Thorough understanding of networking fundamentals & technologies including:

* LAN

* WAN

* DNS

* DHCP

MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) & good understanding of Microsoft technology & software stack, such as:

* IIS

* SQL

* Exchange

* Office 365

* Azure
