Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Training & Test Manager for an initial 18 month contract on a rate of c.£300-350/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting a team of Business Analysts to implement new case types as part of the transformation project - using project management skills to put in place detailed plans for testing of business system integration and process changes.
* Plan and oversee delivery of tests and roll out to users - UAT.
* Engage with relevant stakeholders to manage any new releases of case types and ensure systems work as expected - ensuring clear stakeholder communication and engagement is factored into planning processes.
* Coordinate the implementation of business changes - with specific responsibility for preparing and delivering customer training for each case type.
* Define and implement Business Change Processes - setting up from scratch the business change process and ensuring this is being followed and managed within the Business Improvement team.
* Define ongoing support needs and arrangements for all users - ensuring all end users have suitable training and other support beyond the launch of each case type.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a release/test management/test lead role.
* Experience analysing business process changes - planning and delivering a schedule of testing for end users and system integration.
* Good understanding of the requirements analysis, definition and specification process.
* Proven ability to test business change and reach an acceptable outcome.
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience - ability to promote business change and ensure it is embedded throughout an organisation or customer base (via training).
* Strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Experience of recognised project and programme methodologies (i.e Prince 2, Agile).
* Excellent presentation skills and experience running workshops / training type events.
* Understanding of ICT systems and infrastructure.
* Understanding of risk and risk management processes.
