Business Architect
Location: Hertfordshire
Duration: 6 months initial
Day Rate: £600 - £650
Business Architect - We are actively seeking a Business Architect to join a Global Insurance and Financial Company based in Hertfordshire for an initial 6 months. The Business Architect will be working on a 3 year transformation within their IT department.
The Business Architect will bring together the architecture for the organisation and solutions throughout the business. This opportunity is ideal for a Business Architect that has previously worked within the Insurance and Finance Industry. The Business Architect will be business facing and work with senior members of the business. The Business Architect will need to have strong technical knowledge and be able transform that knowledge to non-technical colleagues. The ideal candidate will boast a strong track record of solution architecture, with a more recent focus on identifying, implementing and driving solution strategy.
Alongside this, the role of the Business Architect is fairly hands-off technically but will require you to be responsible for mentoring and coaching more junior Architect's. This is an excellent opportunity for the Business Architect to help transform the companies IT structure and be a part of that movement.
Key Skills for the Business Architect:
* Solid experience in a number of Architect roles.
* Previously worked within the Insurance and Finance Industry.
* Strong technical knowledge across a variety of different solutions, applications and infrastructure.
* Technical and Non-Technical language.
* Able to mentor junior members within the team.
* Excellent communication skills are vital.
