Job Title: 1st Line Support Engineer

Location: Leatherhead

Salary: £26,000 plus pension scheme

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

You will be working as part of small team supporting a network with 80 users and a diverse range of services in a British precision equipment manufacturer, supplying internationally-recognised devices around the world.

As well as providing day-to-day software, hardware and voice support for all onsite and remote employees, you will also have the opportunity to enhance your skill-set and be fully involved in a number of upcoming projects including upgrading SAN storage, voice and network.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 1st Line support for internal and remote users

* Answer, document and resolve IT helpdesk tickets, keeping users informed of incident progress, impending changes and service outages

* Maintaining and supporting desktops, laptops, telephony devices, printers and any other IT hardware and software

* Liaise with 3rd Parties and suppliers when required

* Review new and existing processes, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained

Key Skills and experience:

* Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

* Active Directory administrative tasks e.g. account creation, reset password etc

* Troubleshooting PC, Laptop and Printer software and hardware

* Troubleshooting basic network issues

* Proven technical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability

* Able to work to deadlines

* Minimum two years' experience in a similar role

* Full UK driving licence
