The Role
Working within the Credit Risk team, the candidate would be working across the following areas:
* Credit Strategy - design and enhance credit strategy for new and existing products to reduce credit risk and increase profitability whilst maintaining our responsible lending approach
* Product Development - assist in the design of new and enhancements of current products including understanding and modelling customer outcomes, behaviour and profitability
* Fraud Analytics - maintain and enhance our fraud controls and processes
* Financial Planning - production of financial planning models and scenario and stress testing of these model to aid the direction of the business in the medium to long term
Typical Candidate Background & Qualifications
* Strong A-levels (normally ABB+), including an 'A' at A-level Maths.
* Typically 2:1 and above in an applied numerical degree (Physics, Engineering, Stats and Operations Research etc.) from a top university.
* Strong attention to detail.
* SAS programming skills or similar coding language
