Job Description

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer provides complex to advanced, high level technical knowledge and support. Responsible for the most complex testing and analysis of all elements of HCA Infrastructure (including software, servers, storage and infrastructure services).

This is a full time and permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary package dependent upon candidate experience. Along with a competitive salary, the incumbent will also receive 25 days holiday, private healthcare and our company flexible benefits scheme.

Duties & Responsibilities

Works with business partners/vendors in analysing, researching, evaluating and recommending application integration and support services.

Interfaces with customers to translate business acumen and rules into infrastructure service requirements and deliverables.

Monitors performance of the infrastructure services and supporting hardware, including routers, switches, servers, storage, and circuits.

Guide, train, instruct, and assists others at peer or lower levels on infrastructure services best practices and resolving technical issues.

Advises infrastructure teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.

Sponsors efforts to identify, evaluate, promote, and implement customer support best practice processes and procedures.

Skills and Experience

Experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, design, systems analysis, security, data centre operation, WAN/LAN & voice/video communication, topologies, Microsoft Infrastructure Services (AD, SCCM, OMS), Windows Server OS, Azure, O365, Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop) and Cloud Technologies.

Experience in using Infrastructure Services Design (Microsoft Technologies inc Active Directory & O365, MDM, MAM).

Ideally experience of working within a healthcare background.

Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. TOGAF 9, RM-ODP, Zachman Framework, C4ISR or equivalent; J000XX - Draft Microsoft Professional, Systems Integrator, Information System Management certification).
