Spring Technology is currently looking for an IT Operational Risk Consultant. This is a Brand New extendable 3 Month Contract based in Coventry.

The Role:

The successful individual will have relevant professional qualification in risk management and Information Security alongside Industry Certification such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC and knowledge of Information Security Management System and Framework

You will have demonstrable and substantial professional experience in information security risk management preferably in financial services institutions.

A strong track record including, but not limited to, risk identification, assessment and management, Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes, Loss Event capture and analysis with particular focus on the development and implementation of action orientated mitigation and resolution plans, issues / findings reporting and action plans creation, Information Security Risk Management Framework development and embedding, Risk Appetite assessment approach and implementation, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) etc.

Excellent stakeholder management skills - Our Operational Risk Business Partnering team is expected to face off to stakeholders in the respective business areas providing effective oversight and challenge to ensure that all business activities are conducted in line with the approved risk appetite.

Knowledge of the financial services landscape and banking regulatory environment: in particular detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements for Information Technology Risk management and measurement.
