International renowned HCA Healthcare UK, London’s largest private healthcare providers is actively recruiting for a Infrastructure Services Architect to be based in our central London office in London Bridge.
HCA Healthcare UK is London’s largest private hospital group, and operates 6 world-class hospitals across the capital, including The Harley Street Clinic, The Lister Hospital, London Bridge Hospital, The Portland Hospital, The Princess Grace Hospital and The Wellington Hospital. The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the enterprise infrastructure architecture and the design of private and public infrastructure. This includes the maintenance and operation of monitoring and reporting tools, troubleshooting and repair of the systems.
This Infrastructure Architect will be a major participant in the operations, responding to outages, degraded service warnings, and other emergencies and must be able to effectively communicate and consult with HCA business leaders to understand business needs and challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities
In conjunction with the IT&S Design Authority, drives short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio
Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
Conducts end-to-end technical plan design
Defines data retention, backup, and recovery methods and plans.
Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team.
Communicate and collaborate with local IT staff as well as colleagues in other parts of the world for configuration, troubleshooting
Advises infrastructure teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.
Skills and Experience
Solid understanding and experience of Azure and/or other cloud service provider experience.
Experience in Infrastructure Services Design (Microsoft Technologies inc Active Directory & O365, MDM, MAM).
Experience in a production IT environment architecting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure.
Researches new technologies and innovates.
Understanding of IT industry trends and product roadmaps (experience in technology watch).
