Job Description

Our Clinical Applications Delivery Manager delivers an outstanding and ever improving Patient Experience. You will be responsible for driving delivery of clinical application architectures, designs, solutions, features enhancements, service requests, and defect resolutions.

This is a full time and permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary package dependent upon candidate experience. Along with a competitive salary, the incumbent will also receive 25 days holiday, private healthcare and our company flexible benefits scheme.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensures tool selection, architecture, design, development and service delivery of all products, services, and resources within the HCA division IT&S Clinical Experience Team. Owns and drives the tender process including RFI, RFP and selection process.

Maintains a management and leadership role in setting service line direction and ensures standards and policies are maintained and compatible with HCA standard information systems architecture, tools, policies and procedures.

Working close with the Head of Clinical Experience, maintains responsibility for the coordination and development of division-level clinical software application capabilities.

Supports financial management activities, including the creation and maintenance of the division Clinical Application Services budget (capital and operational).

Provides team management, including regular monthly 121 meetings, performance management and career development activities. Develop team core competencies, processes, and disciplines. Supports sharing of best practices.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in the Information Technology field with broad technical experience in a variety of application systems and technologies.

Previous experience in software development life-cycle management.

previous experience in project delivery and project management (ideally PRINCE2 or Agile).

Knowledge of management of Clinical Applications.

EPR/EMR Systems knowledge (ideally MEDITECH).
